Seven inches round is the plate food gets carried on rather than eaten off at a table. A half dozen wings, a scoop of dip, a slice of sheet cake: that is the load it takes without bending in the middle. At an Orchard Park tailgate in December, a smaller round also gives wind less to grab.
Forty-eight to a pack is two each for twenty-four people, which is the count a small plate goes through once the grill starts a second round. Bills napkins at 6.5 inches and a three-pack plastic table cover sit on this same shelf, and royal blue and red out of the plain color range fills in cups.
On the table
- 7" round, forty-eight per pack — the appetizer and cake size.
- Two each for twenty-four guests, or one pass through a bigger lot.
- Buffalo napkins and a plastic table cover are stocked here too.
- Less surface than a 9-inch plate for December wind to catch.
