This set covers plates and napkins only, and it covers twenty-four people with them. The reasoning is simple enough: a house hosting two dozen on Thanksgiving already owns glasses, or is pouring into whatever is in the cupboard, and the pieces that run out are the ones nobody can wash fast enough mid-game.
Detroit draws a bigger room than most Thursday hosts because the whole country is watching that slot. Twenty-four servings handles relatives who came for food and stayed for the game. Pair it with the nine-inch Lions dinner plates here if the meal is a full plate rather than snacks passed around.
