Black on a round table is the safest choice in the catalog and the one caterers default to. Everything sits well on it, nothing clashes with it, and the marks a party leaves — rings, crumbs, the damp patch under a punch bowl — do not show from standing height.
The listing gives the dimension plainly: 82 inches round, premium paper. On a 48-inch table that is a drop to just above knee height on a seated guest, which is the look people mean when they say a table is properly dressed.
Three covers to a pack. Black is one of the three shades — with red and white — that also come as a 60-inch Stay Put cover, if a fitted round is wanted instead of a draped one.
