Ivory is the shade that shows every mark, which is exactly why it is the shade where plastic is worth the trade. A glass of red wine that would end a paper cover is a wipe on this one, and on a cake or gift table that has to look right for the whole event, that is the difference.
The trade going the other way is honest to state: plastic in a pale shade looks more like plastic than a dark one does. Ivory paper reads as linen; ivory plastic reads as a wipe-clean cover. On a display table under a runner and a centerpiece nobody notices; on a bare head table they might.
Three covers at 54 by 108 inches, the same cut as the ivory paper cover on this shelf.
