This is the purple people picture when they say purple: a full, even violet with neither the wash of lavender nor the depth of amethyst. It carries graduation tables for a great many schools, Mardi Gras with gold and green, and any birthday where purple is simply the birthday person’s color.
Mid-tone shades are the most forgiving under mixed lighting. Where lavender shifts and amethyst goes near-black, this one stays recognizably purple from daylight through to a dim room, which is why it is the safer of the three for an evening event.
Three covers at 54 by 108 inches. Purple also exists on this shelf as a plastic cover and as a 24-guest party kit.
