This is the middle purple of the shelf’s three: fuller than lavender, lighter than amethyst. In plastic it reads slightly deeper than the paper version does, because a gloss surface takes light differently from a matte one — worth knowing if the two are being mixed on the same table.
Purple is a graduation color for a great many schools, and graduation parties are outdoor buffet events more often than not. That is the case for plastic: dew, condensation from ice buckets and drinks on a warm day all stay on the surface.
Three covers at 54 by 108 inches, the same footprint as the purple paper cover. A 24-guest party kit exists in the same shade.
