School bus yellow is not the mimosa yellow of the covers and kits: it is the deeper, more saturated yellow of the vehicle it is named after, and no cover or plate in the catalog matches it.
The beverage napkins and party cups on this shelf are the match. Against anything else this is a contrast piece: with black covers it is a construction or transport theme for a small child, and against mimosa yellow it is close enough to look like a mismatch.
