The round nine-inch plate is the workhorse of a buffet-style Thanksgiving, where people fill a plate at a counter and carry it to wherever they are sitting. It gives up roughly a quarter of the usable surface of the oval plates on this shelf, and for a table where the sides go around a second time anyway, that smaller surface is not a real constraint.
Gather Together is a wordmark print — the phrase set in script across a warm ground with leaf motifs. It reads at arm’s length across a table, which is the point of a printed plate: nobody looks at the plate they are holding, they look at the ones opposite.
There is no rating on the listing yet. For a print released for a single season that is normal, not a warning.
On the table
- Nine inches round: right for a buffet plate, tight for a plated dinner with four sides.
- Twenty-four per pack — buy two for a table over eighteen, since people take a fresh plate for dessert.
- Heavy duty stock in the round format, so it takes a loaded buffet plate.
- Pairs with the guest towels on this shelf without matching them exactly — both sit in the same warm range.
Specifics from the listing
- Paper plates measure 9"
- Paper plates made for easy clean-up
