The Festive Cake artwork already runs across a dessert plate, two napkin sizes and a table cover on this shelf. This is the dinner plate that finishes it, and that matters: a matched range stopping at the 7-inch plate forces you to serve the actual meal on something that clashes with the cover underneath it.
Nine inches, twenty-four to a pack, with "Happy Birthday" set into the cake print. Most of a dinner plate disappears under food, so the lettering does its work at the start of the party and again at the end, when the plates are stacked and the table is being cleared. Twenty-four serves twenty-four once, or twelve across two courses.
