The construction is two materials doing separate jobs: a paper top, which photographs matte and takes tape or a pin, over a plastic backing that keeps a spilled drink off the table underneath. Most covers pick one or the other and give up whatever the second material was good at.
Fifty-four by a hundred and two inches fits a six-foot table with roughly a foot of drop. Three to a pack is the allocation that works in practice: the food table, the children’s table, and one kept back for the moment the first cover stops being presentable, which at a shark party is usually before the cake.
On the table
- Three covers, 54 by 102 inches, underwater scene printed on top.
- Paper face over a plastic backing: matte above, sealed below.
- Fits a six-foot table with about a foot of drop.
- The third cover re-dresses a ruined table in thirty seconds.
