Five inches folded is the small napkin: it goes under a cupcake, wraps a hand and stacks flat next to a cake without taking half the table. For a children’s party this is the size that gets used, because the food is handled rather than cut.
Forty-eight in a single pack is the count that makes this work, and on a napkin the count is the thing to read before the fold size. Children go through napkins at a rate adults do not — count on three a child rather than one, and buy the pack that lets you hand them out without rationing.
The Block Bash print is interlocking toy bricks in primary colors. It runs to two pieces here, the napkins and a dessert plate, and it sits happily under plain red, yellow and blue from the color shelf if you want a fuller table.
