Plastic is the call for a party of under-sevens. A drink goes over roughly once an hour at that age, and a plastic cover holds the puddle on the surface long enough to lift it off with a napkin, where paper soaks it through onto the table in seconds. The trade is a slight sheen under a flash.
Fifty-four by one hundred and two inches covers a 6-foot table with about a foot of drop. Three to a pack is a food table, a children’s table and one held in reserve, and the reserve gets used: recovering a ruined table before the cake comes out takes half a minute.
On the table
- 54" x 102" — fits a 6-foot table, folds under a smaller one.
- Plastic: a spill sits on top and lifts off with a napkin.
- Three per pack, and the third one gets used.
- Slight sheen under a camera flash is the trade for that.
